DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., "Dresden" model, Circa 1905, 8-day time/strike porcelain mantel clock. Information on the back states this clock was manufactured for the American Wringer Co., No. 99 Chambers St., New York. This was Ansonia's domestic version of their imported "LaNord" case, with only minor variations.
CONDITION:
porcelain case is in generally good condition, with floral accents and dark pink highlights; most of the gold highlights have worn off, some minor roughness near the feet, couple spots of latex paint that will clean off. Original porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. Metal access door on the back needs attaching [screws and cork are lost] Pendulum is original.. Ht 11.2"
